NYC Elopement

This blog post is long overdue. Mom and dad were expecting baby #1 when these photos were captured and now they have two babies! That was just over two years ago, so yeah when it comes to procrastination, I win the prize. Thankfully this only ever applies to blogging..… okay and maybe working out. However, I have zero qualms admitting that I’m full of excuses when it comes to working out and I rarely feel guilty about it too. As for blogging, I DO LOVE TO WRITE, so no matter what I write, ultimately it needs to matter. So there you have it folks…..

This session was INCREDIBLY special to me. This wonderful woman is a dear friend of mine and someone I’ve loved and admired greatly since day one. We both nannied in the same neighborhood and spent many countless mornings in Central Park, navigating our strollers all over the UWS. We laughed plenty and cried a few but I always felt deep down that something great was about to happen. Fast forward a few years later and poof, M appears. This tall, dark, handsome and incredibly funny European gentleman swoops in and wins D’s heart (bonus - he has an accent too). It was a worldwide romance and everything progressed quickly but when you know you know.

Long overdue but I can’t thank you both enough for allowing me to witness (and be a witness) the beginning of your happily ever after. I love you all very much and can’t wait to see you all again either in LX or LA.

Kelly xoxo
